Almighty God,
Spring has finally sprung, and winter has faded away.
The green grass raises its head to honour you, for you have sustained it.
So too, do we raise hands and voices to you now.
Lord God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, how great is your name.
There is no God like you, no one else who keeps all creation by their grace and goodness.
As winter has lost its grip on our world, so has death and sin and darkness on us.
Lord, you have saved us. You have brought us back to life with resurrection power.
You have, in your infinite mercy, given us new life, a new name, a new naure.
You ahve scooped us up from the mire and clay, and fashioned us into a glorious and beacutiful people.
Fashioned and glorious, for you, O Lord.
We stand in the shadow of your glory and grace; alive and blessed because of your goodness and lovingkindness.
We raise our hands up, as the grass does. Free from death, and in awe of our glorious Saviour.
Glory be to the Lord Almighty.
Glory be to the Lord our God.
Amen.
